Don't Run Mike!

Vice-President elect Mike Pence spent some time on Broadway last night. What was he doing there you may be asking. Well what all of the cool kids do on Broadway of course. Watching the world renowned play "Alexander Hamilton". But after the curtain call Mr. Pence got a shout out from the cast members. And it probably wasn't the shout out he wanted. One may argue that Pence was already being escorted out of the theater when this speech started. In the video you hear a plea from the cast for their voices to be heard. No disrespectful words were spoken. Actually they thanked Pence for coming.

This seems to be a missed opportunity for our incoming elected officials to lend an ear to worried citizens. Pence didn't even have to respond. If he would have just stayed and listened that would have meant so much. But he didn't. And instead of a step forward a step was taken backwards when Donald Trump tweeted out that Mike Pence deserves an apology from the Hamilton cast because they "harassed" him. Huh? And this comes from the guy that doesn't apologize at all. Irony.
